I HAVE BAD KNEES AND I CONSTANTLY HURT THEM WHEN I EXERCISE. TTHIS HAS CAUSED ME TO BECOME RELUCTANT TO EXERCISE AS I AM AFRAID THAT I WILL HURT MY SELF AGAIN. IM REALLY DESPERATE TO LOOSE MY WEIGHT.

low carb diet, the weight will fall off, your knees will get better from less stress and you'll be able to balnce execise and diet from then on

U have bad knees is because of your weight. Your knees unable to support your weight causing the bones to rub with each other. As such, U are unable to bear the pain. It is good that U have good appetite. However, if you are not particular with what U eat and when U eat, it will caused your weight to increase in a matter of time. Try to take quakeroat, it gives U a balance diet and weight control. As such, U are able to bring down your weight and remedy your knees pain. Give a try.

I would look into some aquatic aerobics classes. I busted my knee last year to the point where I could barely walk and for rehabilitation, I did water aerobics at my local gym. It's a tough workout that really does have almost no impact on the knees.

Swimming is the best thing. It takes the weight off our your knees and there are many places with aerobic classes in the pool.

Also, have you tried a stationary bike? Although it moves your knees, it is easier because it isn't weight-bearing.

The good news is that for all regular people diet is at least 95% of the solution to weight management. Inability to exercise is not an excuse for being over weight.

severly cut down on carbs...eat many small meals a day...no junk food or soda...drink water water and more WATER...and also get in the water and excersise. It will take lots of will power, but if you really want to lose weight you WILL do it. good luck!

if you don't have access to a pool invest in a 4lb exercise hula hoop- you can get them on ebay cheap. It sounds nuts- but it will keep you in good shape- gives you a strong core and legs and arms.
