how do i get my computer or my laptop to play DVDs?

my computer and my laptop both have a dvd drive but windows can't play it. what software is it that i need to buy?

you need a player like power dvd or other software that should've came with your dvd rom

insert the dvd.go to my computer ; c drive ; and play it
