Take empty 2 liter (plastic bottles), or any size plastic pop bottle, and shove some treats in there. Put the cap back on and give it to your dogs. You can also do this with cereal boxes (although not so much a challenge for the dog) and any other cardboard you might otherwise toss. One of my dog's favorite toys is the empty box from a case of beer or pop. When I come home from grocery shopping she just waits for me to toss boxes at her while I put things away. Cardboard can make for a mess on your floor, but it's better then her chewing my furniture. You can also put a tennis ball in an old sock and tie it in a knot. Just a few ideas...

i know this may sound silly but I have a boxer and a rotty and they both get through their toys within a matter of days,i got sick of buying expessive toys as this can cost alot of money over a period of time so i went to poundland(which i never usually do) and bought lots of squueky toys from there(although i must admit i did pop the squeekers out of them hehe),i got 6 toys for £6.00 and they love them yet its strange that an old sock tied in a knot seems to be their favourite toy hehehe, try that, that would be even cheaper and they could both pull at each end unlike most toys u get hehe...goodluck..xx

You don't need fancy toys at a website. Your dogs will never know the difference if you just say......get a rope at Lowes, and tie a knot at each end. Get a can of tennis balls at walmart, or take a water bottle, freeze water in it, and take off the cap, and let your dogs chew on it. (my dog loves the frozen waterbottle one, it keeps him occupied for hours),

I almost always buy dog toys from e-Bay, I have always found the quality to be as good as in the shops, have also bought blankets there.

Apparently "Old Navy" is now selling dog clothes, and if i remember correctly they have toys as well. And anything is cheaper than the pet store!

Go to Dollar general or Family dollar and get them stuffed animals. They also have squeaky toys there.

Ebay is excellent, we get loads of our from there. we got a couple to 1p and 99p postage. have a look and see if there are any ones you fancy, i can see your point in wanting cheap ones, as there is no point in getting expensive ones as they will get destroyed in minuets.
good luck im sure you will find some.

try local thrift shops for blankets. if you buy used toys, sterilize them before giving them to your dogs. rawhide is also cheap.
