Have you had sex recently? It could be stress causing your cycles to act up.

That depends on a number of things. Pregnancy, stress, or just age! My menstrual cycle was very consistent (down to the last second) when I was very young.. probably until I was about 20 years old.
Now that I'm 28 and have 1 child, my period diminished from 7 days straight every 3rd week of the month to 2-3 days any given time of month.. I can't even keep track of it... all I know is that I no longer have cramps but I get breast soreness & lightheaded at least 1 week before the onset of my period - so that's the only way I am sure it's coming! So for me, counting the days isn't necessary but only you know your own body - if you are feeling a bit weary - you need to see a doctor!
Inquiring about your health from someone online can give you some insight but it is not the best way to get an accurate and safe answer. So, please make sure you see a family doctor!
GOOD LUCK!

It could be a number of things, but here are my initial thoughts:
- A chemical pregnancy (a pregnancy that lasts just long enough for your body to produce the HCGH and prevent menstruation for a few days to a few weeks)
- A molar pregnancy (When an egg is fertilized and implanted, but it does not have a nucleus, thus it is not sustainable/cannot survive)
- You are pregnant; however, the level of HCGH in your urine isn't enough for a home pregnancy test to detect. Ask your doctor for a blood test for HCGH.

Maybe it's just becoming your new normal cycle. I used to have periods that lasted 7 days, now they're about 5. I would be thanking God if I started getting 1 or 2 day periods...lol. That would be great.

I have always had regular cycles as well until i got pregnant, that's how i knew i was pregnant. I know i get tired of hearing this every time something is wrong, but is it possible that you could be pregnant....you can still have a light period the first few months of pregnancy and with it kind of tapering off that's what it sounds like to me.....

You can't afford to, rather you should not depend on guess work in this regard. Consult your doctor, especially a gyno-specialist if possible!
