The past couple of days when my son has had a poo it smells very strongly like vinegar is this normal and ok?

This happened with my kids but only when they had an upset stomach. Is the poop runnier than normal? Is he sleeping more? Does he seem to be fighting off something? These are the reasons why my kids had strong vinegar smelling poop. Don't worry, it will pass.

In general you should seek the guidance of the child's doc. Stools that are mustard in color may be indicative of a bacterial overgrowth in the small bowel. So, even though you have been able to get the "pipes" flowing again the reason for his constipation should be assessed further now that the odor has changed. Also the color may or may not be different but should also be addressed. Good luck!

Sounds like you are breast feeding, which if you are it is completely normal. Sometimes if they have a cold or tummy bug it can smell funny. In my experience it can smell like pretty much anything. If you are worried but don't want to sound neurotic use your health visitor rather than a doctor. But sound okay to me and i have three, have fun and enjoy your baby.

omg i wish my little boys poo smelled like vinegar! haha! it is horrible! hehe! In my opioion it is what you are feeding him! But if you are not comfortable call his doctor just to comfort you!

my daughters smells like popcorn to me... guess thats why i dont like popcorn. im sure its fine but if your worried about it talk to your dr about it. maybe he can suggest some foods to get it to smell better.... cant imagine poop smelling good though..
