The spacecraft?
These were satelites launched in the 1960s and 70s for exploration in our solar system.

In the fictional world, Voyager 6 (which never actually was launched) returned to Earth in the 23rd century as V'Ger, and caused a mess of problems for Jim Kirk, the Enterprise, and Earth.
