a mile is a unit of distance equal to 5280 feet.
An acre is a unit of area equal to 43,560 sq ft or approximately 209 feet by 209 feet.
It was originally said to be the amount of land that a yoke of oxen could plow in one day.
It is about 3/4 of a football field (American football)

So you are trying to compare apples and oranges. if you want to know acres per SQUARE mile, it is about 640.

A square mile is 640 acres. You may as well be asking how many oranges in a bushel of apples. Miles is a distance measurement and acres is an area measurement.

OK, you may be talking square miles - anyway, here are a few numbers to toss around:
There are 43,560 sq.ft. per acre and 27,878,400 sq.ft. per sq. mile, so 1 acre = 43,560 / 27,878,400 = .0015625 sq. miles
and 127 acres = .0015625 x 127 = .1984375 sq. miles
If you were to assume that the acreage is square, the dimensions would be square root of .1984375 or .445463242 miles on each side. I hope this answers your question.

Miles are a measure of distance. Acres are a measure of area. You can't equate the two.
