How can i start a pieces of descriptive writing?
i need to write a piece of descriptive writing about a school cake sale but i dont know how to start it...can you help me?

As my eyes looked around the room, all I could see were people & decorations hovering around the bake sale signs. My ears were filled with the sounds of people talking & laughing. Best of all, the air was filled with the sweet smell of baking bread from the school cafeteria that was on campus........Does that help? I just gave a description from a visitors, or customers, point of view. The other person gave you a description from a participants, or students, point of view.

I stared at the bowls and the ingredients in front of me wondering why I didnt just go to the store to buy a cake to sell at the school cake sale.
