just becuase you havent started your period yet doesnt mean you wont be able to concieve. I was 11 when i got my period. Every womans body is different. It will come sooner or later and when it does you will wish you never had it.

Try not to be concerned. Ask your mother when she started if you can. If it was a young age and you have gone past that then maybe go to a doctor just to be sure. If you do not feel you can ask this question or feel you can not ask to go to the doctor. Look for a free clinic and someone could help you there. It is embarrassing to feel like you are different than other people your age but remember if it concerns you it is Important!!!! Open communication with parents (Step parents,Aunts, Uncles, grandparents or siblings may help too.)over concerns is the most helpful way to calm yourself.

I got mine at 14 but a few of my friends were 16 and one was 18 years old before she got hers.....if you are very physically active and fit - gymnast swimmers that sort all take a bit longer for some reason... just wait a few years if you don't get it by 16 then see a doctor.. but everyone develops differently

14 is well within the normal limits of beginning menstruation. I have a niece who did not begin her periods until she was 17. She just had a baby. If you are really concerned check with your doctor.

My aunt didn't start until she was 18. Talk about a late bloomer and i consider her lucky as hell. So don't worry about it. The Time will come sooner or later.

there is nothing to worry about I didn't start till i was 16 every girl is different.... if your really concern talk to your mom about it and if you still feel a little uneasy after talking to her ask her to make an appointment with an OB.....if you're under weight it could also be causing your period to delay in starting.....
