It depends on the woman and sometimes what she feels like on that particular encounter.
I think it much more depends on your partner and if he is attentive to your needs and not just his own.
The top allows for more clitoral stimulation. And she has more control over depth, etc. But every woman is different on what she likes or doesn't like. You may want to look into the book The Art of Orgasm.

Perrsonally, oral is the easiest because I don't have to do anything but point him in the right direction, lay back, and enjoy. I'll orgasm like a 15 year old boy losing his virginity if I hear him making sounds like ' mmmm' because he is loving it as much as I am.Being on bottom is the worst, it's hard to get your body positioned so there is clitoral stimulation that is consistent enough for me to peak.

I am not a lady, but from my experience it will depend on the female in general. Different women will orgasm in different ways.
Some wont orgasm from penetration where as others will.
The position depends on the female in question.

Most of the gals seem to enjoy on top...unfortunately, most of the guys enjoy on top also; to be in control. If a guy can learn to give up his control to her ~ then he is in for one wild ride, lol. Enjoy!

On top, as it is both clitoral and internal.
If you are on top you know what you want at the time, so you can control speed and depth etc.
