There are very few mentions of them on the Internet, but the one below indicates that they are a local motorcycle gang. There are mentions of them in other cities like Seattle.
"Inside the residence were thirty some odd weapons, mostly handguns and including rifles and shotguns. Found were lists giving all police agency radio frequency numbers and license numbers of undercover cars in California. Those cars gave California tag numbers and car descriptions. Also found were many articles of jewelry, silver coins, stamps, knives and silverware. These articles were not displayed as such, but rather stuffed here and there in boxes, purses and other containers. In looking through the photo albums it is apparent that [applicant] has ties with the Misfit Motorcycle Club in Sacramento, CA."
Here's an explanation of the "1%'er" part
A One Percenter or 1%'er is a biker with a deep commitment to biking and brotherhood. A 1%er is a member of a 1%'er club.
The term comes from a famous statement made by the American Motorcyclist Association. The group stated that 99% of the people at their events were God-fearing and family-oriented, and that only 1% were not. Those others were hard-riding, hard-partying people who did not identify with mainstream society. [verification needed] Thus the term "One Percenter" was born and embraced by some early bikers.
Those who claim to be 1%'ers are proud to be a part of that group. The "One Percenter" term and accompanying patch are worn as a badge of honor by so-called outlaw bikers. They are also meant to instill respect and fear from both regular motorcyclists and the general community.
Members of motorcycle gangs such as the Mongols, the Hells Angels, the Outlaws, the Pagans, the Warlocks and the Bandidos have members that wear the rhombus-shaped patch with "1%" or "1%'er" inside, usually in their gang's colors, on their vests or motorcycle leathers.

The misfits are a real 100% 1% motorcycle club of small affiliation but large footprint with a history spanning decades in the Sacramento Ca. area. Red and Gold are colors not to be disrespected in the Sacramento area. Guy (DIRTY) Dirta , Mexican Ray, Mike (Next week Mike) Griffin and Pam Colvin, are known associates of this hard core outfit. Do not mess with Red and Gold just go to another bar or location.
