As of today the head coaching jobs at Alabama, Miami, and NC State are open. Which do you think will attract the best coach available. Feel free to add some potential candidates for these jobs.

Just for the record I'm a bama fan so I'm bias :)

I'm a Bama fan too and I am really glad we didn't hire Croom. Alabama has the most money to offer but it probably offers the most pressure too. I hear the HC from navy is a candidate for Bama along with Spurrier and Saban

Money talks so it would be Bama and Miami that have a shot at a better coach. I'm sure Bama wishes they had signed Slyvester Crooms instead of Shula. I thought that was a huge mistake and unfortunately it has turned out to be true. Coach Crooms would have recruited really well at Bama.
As far as potential candidates I don't think Crooms will throw his hat into the ring but you never know. The hot coach on the market would be from Louisville.

Being the huge NC State fan that I am, I hope NC State gets the best coach out there!! I didn't know Miami was getting rid of their coach too!!

NC State was a year late; they should have canned Amato last year.

Alabama's a tough gig, as is Miami. I'd say Miami gets the "better" candidate, but one who will have to do a lot of cleaning house.
