Is Analon cookware non-stick like Teflon?

Will it scratch or come off after long usage like Teflon? There seems to be some coating on it, some "wax-looking" like substance.

i own a big analon frying pan and it works beautifully. it is non-stick, very durable and heats evenly. i've had it for over a year now, and there are no scratches. i don't use any metal utensils on its surface though -- just wooden spoons or silicone spatulas. i would highly recommend this brand of cookware.
