Unlike Elephants, who apparantly migrate to certain areas to die, whenever they can, wolves simply die where they are. It is said that wolves will try to go back to their dens to die if possible. That is a possibility, but no studies, to my knowledge, have every been done on this, so there is no proveable answer to your quesiton.
