If we judge by their incessant whining, liberals think there is nothing to be thankful for nor any being to which we should be thankful. Yet liberals take a day off from work and tend to eat Turkey (or Tofurkey) and generally claim to celebrate a day which is intended to give thanks to a creator they don't even believe in. What's the deal?

Because no one in their right mind says no to a paid day off.

1. Not all liberals are athiests. I'm not.

2. Athiests have things that they are grateful for, too.

3. Just because one is liberal does not mean that one is not grateful for things, possibly many of the same things that you are.

4. What pleasure do you get from slinging insults and stiring up trouble? I fail to see the entertainment value in this sort of behavior. And I get tired of hearing 'liberal' being used as an insult. You don't nearly as often hear 'conservative' being used as an insult.

I am thankful for many things in my life. I just don't believe they came from a deity.

Think of it this way, if a deity gave me all these things to be thankful for, what does it have against everyone who doesn't have them?

Yeah, and they also let their women learn how to read and go out into the work force against the will of God... and no one's been stoned for years. Whattup?
