LOL. I always feel like the biggest dork ever especially when people start to look at me and shake their heads. I realize just how old I feel. Great question!

Haha that does seem to be true. Except the grocery store near my house plays Disney, and in that case it's the kids who are singing along! And people like me that know every Disney song ;)

I am telling you...the Shoprite manager must be a 70's fan,I need to meet that guy.
Awesome music selection,I go everyday,walking through the isles,buying stuff....singing.
Think they do that on purpose, subliminal messages hidden in great songs?
The other day they played "the Hustle".
I swear a whole bunch of people where humming with that tune.
I so have to go back tomorrow, need to hear the "Disco Duck".

It hasn't been true for me so far, but you never know....actually, you should try going to the supermarket in the middle of the night like I do; the last time I did that they were playing 'Sweet Home Alabama', which is one of my most favorite songs :)

Have you ever noticed how all of the "old guys" call the grocery store a "supermarket?"

bet you love american idol too? it's EVIL I tell you! American Idol is killing your brain! Start listening to some blues and classic rock. lets hope the stores don't get the idea to play the blues so people are so miserable they don't care about prices they just want to get out and cry.

Brutal confession: I have started downloading Montovani from Limewire because it reminds me of being in Sears or Woolworth's when I was a kid. So even CRAP endears itself, past a certain age.

Yes, especially when you know all the songs, the artist and the words. Even worse when each song brings back some sort of memory.........lol.

You know, I never really thought about it until I heard them playing Mrs. Robinson (Simon & Garfunkle) the other day.
