Depends on the time and day. You get some ardent left wingers posting here as well. In true form, some conservatives accuse Y! Answers as being controlled by liberals, because they find themselves in the minority. Same shtick they pull against the "liberal media" despite the popularity of Rush, Faux News, The National Review, and the Washington Times. Helps them suppress those voices even more so, in an inane attempt to "balance the discourse".

However, there are vehement wackos on both sides, and it's easy to get sucked into the rancor when someone asks a particularly loaded, insulting question.

Of course. It is also a place for the dissemination and reinforcement of left wing views.

Sure! It's also for dissemination and reinforcement of left wing views. And all points in between, but the in between stuff mostly gets reported or thumbed down. :)

See? Told ya. HAR!

Oh I think that left wing views are also disseminated and reinforced.

But yes, it is a LOT of shouting, and zero listening.

It's a place for all kinds of things.

But since only the right wingers use facts, truth and history to prove their points, it could be considered to reinforce their views.

Spouting "bush lied" and "bush=hitler" might get a lot of of rave reviews from the lefty echo chamber, but there's very little of intelligence, reason, logic or fact displayed from the left.

I try to express my point of view. I guess I am more of a right winger except I support Gay rights, I don't think Gay rights should step on the rights of others though, like the ban on the JROTC in San Fran. But on most everything else I am a right winger.

This is a forum for discussing politics. Everyone is (in theory) free to ask and answer the way they wish. The rampant reporting needs to end though. After that some real political discussion can begin, and I think that'd be beneficial for everyone, on both sides of the political "fence", per say

Yes. Left wing posters out number the right wingers by about 3 to 1.

Both sides' views have been represented here; if you don't like the right wing view, that's fine, but those who espouse it have as much right to do so as you have to espouse yours.

I'd say left-wingers post most of the questions.

Right wingers answer them.
