An alpha particle is simply a helium nucleus ( no electrons around it). The alpha particle and the nucleus would both be positively charged so it would be repelled by the nucleus .... Looks like D is correct.

all of the above' it radioactive and quickly bound to a neighboring nucleus free to wander about the nucleus which may become electrostatically repelled. you should this stuff already.
