Dodie Fayed's father started that rumor which is ironic because the driver, Henri Paul was a security officer at the Ritz Hotel, owned by Fayed's father, Mohamed Al Fayed. Paul was on Prozac and completely drunk when he got behind that steering wheel. The Queen didn't put the driver on an antidepressant and give him the alcohol problems he had long before that fatal crash. If Charles had been a good and loving husband and not climbing into Camilla's trousers, Diana wouldn't have been in Paris with some other man that night.

Lets see... she could have stayed on at the palace and made herself and her husband miserable.... but she would have died from anorexia or something...would you call that murder? She went out with a drinker, had a driver that was a drinker, probably encouraged the driver to speed, and DID NOT HAVE ON A SEATBELT!!! She should be taking some of the blame.

People shouldn't just conclude YES! That is stupid and pressumtuois! Be real! She was partying and getting drunk with the rest of her entourage. Like other drunk drivers we see all the time.....they lost control and died! They said she had alcohol in her blood too. It happens all the time.
This is such old news! Put it to rest!

If you consider unrelenting paparazzi coverage murder, then yes (many conspiracy theorists feel this way). It's a very sad story and people will always point a finger somewhere since she was so beloved. There are a ton of books and articles dedicated to this topic - check out your local bookstore. No, absolutely not. It was an accident. Although, the conspiracy theorists love to think it was part of a big plot, there is no concrete proof of that.
