The correct answer is D). They carry all sorts of size particles and rocks. When they deposit them the sedimentary material made up of all of these is called a Till. Large boulders that drop out of a glacier are called Erratics.

When glaciers move,they carry along particles they scrape from the earth beneath them, as well as large boulders that break off from mountains or hills onto the glaciers during their movement. When the glacier then melts, this unsorted type of particles known as moraine, is either deposited there and then or carried away by the melting water to be sorted out.
