yeah u can say this defetes are shameless defetes.last 4 series India didnt play well. dravid is oki. he tried with this team to win. but this team is not perfect. young players played well in some matches. but now this is proved that they r not prepared to play in this highest lavel of cricket. team selectors have to think more about the young players. they need to bring back players like Shourav Ganguly, Laxman, Nehra. Chappal should resign. He isnt the perfect man for India. He is a gud coach. But he is not appropriate for this team. His methods r unique but not useful. So kick him out. Vensarkar & pawar has to attend this matter. Dont go for money, think for ur team. Dont do POLITICS with Indian Cricket.

It is a shame that we are after the heads of the top management when the team fails or hail them as gods when the team performs. The team is failing due to 11 players out there. All of them are responsible. Even teams like Australia went through these phases. Srilanka was in shambles 1 year back and they turned it around. All it requires is honest effort from the players and the team management. Once they pick the right 11 players, India will be a force to reckon with.

Resignation is not the solution to debacle. Resigning because of the debacle will be running away from the responsibility. What will be more courageous act is to remain in the post unperturbed by the criticism and turn around the fortune of the team.
For all those who are making so much hue and cry about Indias poor performance in South Africa, I would like to mention that this is not the first time India has been defeated badly. There have been many occasions in the past when India were defeated very badly than now. Some of the instances are given below:
1) In the 2nd One Day International Match of 1978/79 series
played against Pakistan in Jinnah Stadium, Sialkot on
13th October, 1978, India were bowled out for 79 runs
in 34,2 overs and Pakistan won that match by 8 Wickets.
2) In the 1st One Day Inernational Match played at Green Park
Kanpur on 24.12.1986 against Sri Lanka, India were bowled
out for 78 runs in 24.1 overs and Sri Lanka won that match
by 117 runs.
3) In the 9th match of Benson & Hedges World Series Cup
played at Sydney Cricket Ground on 08.01.1981 against
Australia, India were bowled out for 63 runs in 25.5 overs
and Australia won the match by 9 wickets.
4) In the Coca Cola Champions Trophy 2000/2001 Final
played against Sri Lanka at Sharjah on 29.10.2000
India were bowled out for 54 runs in 26.3 overs and
Sri Lanka won the Trophy by 245 Runs
The Indian Team were more experienced and stronger on the above occasions as conmpared to present Indian Team. I have never heard such a hue and cry on those occasions.
I am, therefore, most surprised to see the media hype, uproar by the M.Ps etc. now. Are the M.Ps raising the issue just because Mr. Sharad Pawar, Union Cabinet Minister is heading the B.C.C.I.
I strongly feel that the players will be feeling very bad about the pathetic performance. What is the need of the hour is to give encouragement to them to come back strongly instead of asking for the head of the people for the debacle.

well well my friend. this question has been the centre of all our discussion for the past ten days. now for me its not the captain, coach, team management or pawar is not resposible for this this pathetic display of our team. its the playing 11 who r responsible. see if the players dont perform then not even God can save our team, let alone dravid or greg. neither the batsman were in form nor the bowlers had the venom in their bowling in the recent matches. so for me the team has lost its responsibility and accountability but not capability. so the team can get its wining ways only by hard practice, concentration and sticking to their basics, and not by the resignation of any captain, coach or pawar.

As you know Cap. Dravid is only the person which is known to be the great wall of indian team. In team defeat it was not his fault. The person playing does'nt know what will go, next . Every person play by his own thinking whether for runs, team - victory,or for good performance for the team to remain in the team. So they play in there own way,but in past matches dravid play much better than all and I think every cricket player knows his name who is he and what can he do.So Captain Dravid is not only responsible person for indian defeat.

i think you are right
they do not have a shame also
because after losing so many matches they are trying to make changes in the match
they should have changed the team once and let them play one series
i think the team which is perfect is
1 sachin
2 ganguly
3 dravid(if he plays well)
4 dhoni
5 dinesh mongia
6 irfan
7 kumble
8 harbhajan
9 shreesanth
10 zaheer khan
no place for sehwag he would be in substitutions

i could say Rohit sharma, Virat kohli is dazzling and proficient yet is abusive which dravid wasn't. the main substantial factor i liked approximately dravid grew to become into that he grew to become right into a gents and kohli isnt. Kohli is extra of a ODI participant. I see rohit sharma a attempt participant so probably he can fill in his footwear. Its a not easy one answer. perchance india doesnt elect a clean Dravid type participant? all the the rustic communities have had their superb gamers retired and not had everyone which could replace them and nevertheless are coping...

Indian's never performed good in SA ( except WC 2003) so that is not a concern.
Dravid is doing a fine job, Chappel can be sacked if thought so.
But to me if you are in a process of firing people, you should fire
Sehwag
Kaif
Pathan
Agarkar
these are the people who are not taking responsibility
as far as capability team is capable of doing anything
Accountability can be on only Dravid & to some extent Dhoni

Initially, I don't agree with the contents of this question. Because everybody viz. Chapell, Vengsarkar, Dravid and Pawar had given great contribution towards this game. Victory and defeat is the part of game. And how can we fix the responsibility and accountability in the game of "chance" ?

No. They are not shameless though I think that Chapel's experiments have not produced the desired results. As a coach it's his responsibility to work on fixing the weaknesses of each player and also create such an atmosphere that each player feel motivated to give his 100%
