We've had 2 so far and both say we're having a boy, but I don't see it (did with my first), have a gut feeling this is a girl (a little too much hope maybe? ha) Just wondered how many of you planned for one gender, but ended up with another?

Ha, yea that hope that lingers. I was told i was having a boy, and i wanted my little girl soo bad. I held out hope that they were wrong because that was in an early ultrasound, i figured it was too soon. But nope, hope failed and instead I had the most beautiful baby boy. The baby boy they promised that i was having... Those people are not wrong that often i don't think. Good luck with everything either way.

I didn't find out with my first pregnancy, right now I'm on my second and I plan on finding out. My sisters both had ultrasounds (4 babies total) and all the gender predictions were correct for them. I read that sometimes the hand will be in the way or the umbilical cord could make it look like its a boy when its not, but I think for the most part they are more correct with their predictions than not. Good luck on having a girl, I'm hoping for the same thing.

Both of my ultrasounds were correct, but I had a friend who was told she was having a boy and it turned out to be a girl. If you had 2 that said it was a boy though, then I'd say it's pretty likely that's what you're having.

I didn't want to know the sex of my two, but my instinct was right on both counts.

My sister was told throughout her pregnancy that she was having a girl - she was devastated when it turned out to be a boy. She kept saying that he wasn't hers for a few days. It did take her a while to get used to the fact that she was in fact a he (he is a bit feminine though).

They don't always get it right as a boy could have his parts tucked betwen his legs or just out of view.

It's better not asking the sex - it kinds spoils it for others as well as yourself.

As long as the baby is healthy, who cares about it's gender :-)

Not incorrect about the gender, but 2 ultrasounds said my 2nd son was due Sept. 2nd. He was born Oct. 5th, and they had to induce me for 3 days to get him to come then!
