I eat healthy most of the time, I drink green tea, I drink water, I eat lots of fruits and vegies, so what's the deal? It's so frustrating because I gained a bit of weight after getting married and I want to loose it, but what should I do? Sometimes my family makes fun of me because they are all skinny and I'm not and it really hurts my feelings.

I excercise 5 times a week for 1 hour each, on the treadmill. I first jog with no elevation, then with an elevation. I have never been skinny my whole life.

I suggest you see Dr and a dietitian first. After you do that watch what you eat. The best way to lose weight is to eat small portion at any given meal time and exercise. You should make this a life time routine. Stay away from pork and beef. Try to eat balanced food. It is better to take a long term approach to lose your weight. Don't let family members bother you because they are skinny. The best deal is to maintain healthy weight. You need to walk and take a stair at least 30 minutes to 45 minutes every other day. Lift weight other days , using 2 to 5 pounds dump bells for 20 minutes to 30 minutes. It is better to exercise in interval to spread the exercise effect. If you do continues exercises you are going to get tired and discourage your self in the long run. You do have other things in life you must enjoy.

How is your exercise? It seems like you have the right diet going (although, switching to all organic produce may help too), but you are not burning more calories than you take in, you won't lose weight.
It's understandable that many don't really have the time to start these big exercise plans, but there are actually much simpler ways to do it; you don't have to be a marathon runner.
For example, just walking for an hour (straight) each day is enough to have huge health benefits, including the ability to lose weight. Don't underestimate the power of walking. : )
Also, a light jog for 20 minutes a day is an easy way to get your metabolism up and kicking. Pilates and yoga are also beneficial methods of exercise.
In addition, try to eat AFTER you work-out, as then you don't have to burn the calories from what you just ate when you do work-out. Also, a good night's sleep, consisting of a full 8 hours (no more, no less) can also speed up the process. Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day as well.
And as a side note, why don't you talk to your family about the comments they are making? Let them know that they can be hurtful and they aren't helping anything.
Good luck!

Just eating healthy will not make you lose weight, but it is a great start. You have to exercise regularly to burn the fat your body has store up. You should try walking at a fast pace for 30 mins a day. There is no miracle cure for obesity unfortunately(or I'd be first in line haha), but with a good workout routine and time, you should see results. Remember that the recommended weight loss is only 1-2 lbs per week so set a goal and try to achieve it!! Good Luck!!!

The answer to losing weight is simple - You must burn more calories than you consume.
Simple in theory yes, however many many people have trouble doing this. If you are eating healthy, than start a cardio regimine and after time you will start to lose the weight. I had to lose weight for a PT test, so I started eating healthy, and did a pretty intense cardio workout 4 days a week. I started to notice results after about 1 month, and after about 5 months I went from 220- 190.
You can use www.calorieking.com if you would like to see about how many calories you consume each day. I always find that interesting.
It looks like REGULAR and CONSITENT exercise is the key for you.

Try eating just a little less for now. See if any weight drops off. Try it for a few weeks. I have been thin my whole life but I do gain a little sometimes. When that happens I slack off of my food intake. I have never had to pay money to loose weight. Never joined a gym, never paid for reduced calorie meals. It is a big money making business. If you want to loose weight, spend less at the grocery store, not more.

Have you been checked out by your doctor? You may have a problem with your thyaroid glands, which can make it exceptionally difficult to lose weight.
If that's not it, perhaps just up the amount of exercise you get and, if you're eating lots of carbohydrates, reduce how many of those a day you have.

You didn't mention your exercise routine. Do you have one? If not you can try using workout videos (cardio, yoga, dance) to help you get started. Try to exercises 3-5x a week for 30-60 min, also include strenght training ( upper & lower body).
