I thought school was boring from kindergarden on....I spent time in class drawing cartoons. Now I'm an artist.

ok, here's the deal: school is NOT fun. that's just the simple truth. trying to make it fun will only be lying to yourself, and it'll be a disappoinment when it's hard or boring.
what you gotta realize is that school is WORK. school is how you prepare for the real world. this sounds hokey and cheesy and cliche, it's true: how much you learn in school determines the type of life you will have outside of school.
i was in gifted classes as a kid, but i slacked off in high school because i was lazy. i COULD have applied myself and gotten a 4.0, but i ended up squeaking by with a C average. now, i'm working a dead-end desk job, which is STILL better than most kinds who got grades like mine.
if you really want good things out of life, if you want to make the big money, then you have to WANT to be in school, learning, equipping yourself to handle everything the world throws at you.
so i guess what i'm trying to say is, keep a positive outlook. of fukcin COURSE you're not going to use euclidian geometry, or AP physics, or knowledge of ancient chinese society in every day life. that's not the point. the point is learning HOW to learn, how to study, how to organize, understand, and retain information. the point is learning what it's like to be a student.
so again, just remember, it's for your own benefit, and it's seriously, truly going to decide the quality of your life.

Doodle in class! I began when I was in elementary school and became a pretty good drawer because of it. Trust me, it helps when math class begins to bog you down with x + 3 = whatever. English class talking about predicates and the like? Hell, draw a few things while the teacher is rambling on. You might just end up with a new hobby

I don't know if this will help at all, but out of all the subjects you take, which one interests you the most? Focus on that subject to start they see how you can apply it to your other subjects...
