Dreams...?

Hello everone!!
I always believed that dreams have meanings, not all but most of them are far more than just thoughts and memories...
Today while sitting at my desk a co-worker approached me and said that last night he had a dream that i was getting married, and my wedding was being held in a huge church and there were so many people there (over 300) of all ages, at day time, It was a large event with drums beating loudly and music;
Now... i was always told that when some one dreamed of some one getting married it means a death is close by, particulary a person that the bride or groom in the dream knows? what is your opinion on this subject, could it mean something else?
The reason i ask is because about an hour after my co-worker told me the dream,my mother called and said the father of a good of mine died and the viewing is tonight.

Dreams are merely the subconscious releasing stress, or a bad banana and peanut butter sandwich. People are always looking for a reason in everything, sometimes there is none. Are you sure your coworker doesn't want to dream a little closer?

If your friend dreams about you getting married who was the groom in the dream? No it does not mean someone going to die in that person life. Sorry about your dad, Did he go to your wedding or know of your wedding? If yes then his dream was about that.
