troy smith is going to win the Heisman but only by default. Ted Ginn is not even in consideration cause he is not even the best receiver on his team(Gonzalez is). McFadden was making a strong case but his team has two critical losses and he is playing after surgery on his hand. Brady Quinn is just the most overrated college football player in a long time. he ranks right up there with rasaan salaam, lawrence phillips, danny wurffel and ryan leaf's of the college world. dwayne jarred had a chance but he got hurt early in the season and he was all but done.So troy smith will win, but it will be by default.

It's pretty much certain. The only thing that could have changed that would have been if Brady Quinn put up huge numbers against USC which was not the case. So yes, Troy Smith has the Heisman wrapped up.

What do you already be attentive to on the difficulty of the draft? enable's look at it this manner, you're exceptionally overrating Troy Smith. enable's initiate up off along with his top, he's listed at 6'a million it is undersized yet is going to degree as much as 5'11. what quantity QBs interior the NFL that initiate up and pass interior the 1st around are 5'11? then you certainly could throw out the argument that he has tall OL yet wager what? He does no longer run a expert-type offense which makes his top lots greater loopy. you will now no longer win interior the NFL out of the Shotgun each and every 365 days or by 4-5 WR units. Now enable's pass to his deep-ball potential. He has no deep-ball accuracy nor potential by any skill. i've got have been given seen Ted Ginn decelerate countless situations with the intention to purpose and catch a lameduck by Smith. He won't throw for many yards interior the NFL with that arm of his. Now countless you're performing like Smith is that this impressive athlete which he's not. Vick, Vince youthful, Seneca Wallace, etc. all ran interior the 4.3-4.4 style it is freakishly rapid. Smith runs around a 4.7 which isn't undesirable yet hardly swifter than Brady Quinn. He did now no longer tear up Texas, i do now no longer understand the situation that declare have been given right here from and Michigan grew to advance into into ran over particularly than thrown over. Smith could be a ordinary-around %. yet definitely 10? precise that's a link, pass the communicate board and say that and observe what happens. If I look mean, I tutor be apologetic approximately as I definitely have spoke back this question countless situations.

Smith definitely has it! Some people say he shouldn't get it because his team makes him look good but here is how I see it.

Either A) The best QB with the best stats should get the Heisman or
B) The most talented player in NCAA football gets it regardless of stats and then it is between Smith and Ginn. Either way the Buckeyes get it!

He's got it wrapped up like a wad of booster money.

OU kicks their kid off the team, Ohio St. pushes him for heisman. Nice values in buckeye land.

He certainly deserves it. I'm not a Buckeye fan, in fact hate'em. But you have to look at it in an unbiased view. Great athlete.
