Because we have become such a lax society and noone cares anymore. Its sad really. I feel slack going out to get the paper in my flannel pj bottoms with a sweatshirt, but I see them in the grocery store every weekend.

Those big clumky slippers are comfortable!, and they are not a hazard when you drive the family car 24-7, emergency rooms, vets. Yes I would like a pajama, (or outfit) that I can wear to bed knowing that I must get up at a moments notice without worrying about my self image, or what other people percieve. Lifestyle or comfort? Fashion statement, no! Life yeah I think so.

I've done it at like 6.am when I'm driving to a corner store run by close family friends before work.. I wouldn't do it in a public place though. It's usually younger girls i see doing it , always in groups, I think they think it's just a bit of fun. I don't have a problem with little children in pyjamas or dressing gowns with their parents late or really early in the morning because sometimes their parents have to run a few errands and it is routine for them to be dressed for bed.

I don't know, too lazy to get dressed? I sweatpants out if I am home in them and just need to run out for a few min but I'd never wear obvious pjs, and def not if I was going to be out all day doing things.

EWWWWW the only reason they probably do that is because they got dressed in the dark that morning or they don't own many clothes

It's just a fad. Might go away, might not. Might go away and come back in 20 years.

I don't know...maybe for comfort? That still wouldn't be a good enough reason for me though!
