No, you can still wear them. I wore jeans till the day before my baby was born. At first I did the rubber band, then I did the size bigger, but they were low-waist jeans, so I could just fold the button down and wear with a long shirt. Luckily the weight I gained was mostly belly and my hips didn't expand too much. I personally never liked the pregnancy panels on maternity jeans, although they say it will give you more support to the belly. My hips were always too big to wear maternity jeans and still look "good" (or at least in my own eyes, the pants didn't ever look good on me) Just make sure that they dont feel tight on you in your crotch area or around your belly. Good Luck!

Nope you are fine!! You will be able to tell when you can no longer do that anymore!! I was doing that till like 28 weeks then I switched to maternity jeans and/or sweats. I hated the maternity so you do not have to switch until you feel the need to. I was a size 5 so the maternity were so bulky and loose no matter what size I got. I did not go good into them until I was almost due. I am now between a size 5-7 because I got some hips finally!!

Wearing jeans doesnt harm the baby as long as they are not super tight across your lower abdomen. They have the cutest maternity jeans now with an elastic that you can either pull up over your stomach or roll it underneath. And these jeans are stylish!! I like the rubber band idea. I never thought of that. Good Luck and Congrats!!

I've been wearing maternity jeans since I was 12 weeks pregnant. They are so comfortable and look just like real jeans. No one even knows that the jeans I wear are maternity.
You must consider the following for any jeans you wear though:
Make sure they aren't tight around the stomach and
Make sure they aren't tight around the crotch area
If they are tight in the crotch area, you are more likely to get a yeast infection. And trust me, you don't want that to happen to you while you're pregnant. Many of my friends have told me stories.

It's time to invest in some maternity clothes. And not to worry because these days there are plenty of trendy outfits out there. Old Navy has a great maternity section of jeans that are adjustable in the waist and look like regular jeans. Cheap too.

no. wearing pants doesnt harm the baby. It does however get uncomfy and cause painful stress on the already stressed and stretching ligaments and tendons of the uterus.
Once you're uncomfy you want to get some maternity pants. It happens fast, You'll wake up one morning and not fit into anything anymore. You'll want to make sure you have a back up.
Target has nice inexpensive pants, and so does oldnavy.com. They look like real jeans, and you cant even tell theyre maternity. Which is nice, and i assume thats part of the reason you're avoiding giving up your regular pants.

It won't hurt the baby to wear your jeans still. It is getting to be time to look for materniity clothes though, in a week or two the rubber band won't do it any more. But as long as you're not compressing your belly to make things fit the baby will be fine.

no it's not harming your baby at all. IF you cna afford it there are some really cute maternity pants and they come in small since you're not that big with plenty of room to grow... so comfy!! But if your not ready for maternity they have these stretchy bands that are also pretty comfy that can go over your unbuttoned jeans, but eventually your zipper will dig into you and it's not very comfy.

Wearing jeans won't hurt the baby. Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you now are required to become a sweats-wearin' bum. You can still dress fashionably. Many stores have very cute maternity clothes from casual to dressy. They even have maternity underwear! My underwear got quite uncomfortable when I was pregnant so the maternity ones were nice. As long as you're comfortable, dress what you like. Your baby has so much padding around him/her that he/she won't even notice what you're wearing.
