I just went back to work in a day care with little children who are all catching bugs and vrius's. After taking the summer off. My question is... Would being around all these sick kids and the stress of having to keep them under control all day cause any interuption in my cycle?

Yes, any kind of stress can mess up your cycle. Hanging around with another woman will also have your cycles meet around the same time. For instance, my daughter and I basically get it in the same week. I get it during the beginning of the week and she gets it towards the end.

It is not likely that being around sick children and taking care of them during the day will affect your menstrual cycle. I have been a daycare provider for 20 years. I love it. It is not stressful at all. Maybe another occupation would suit you better.

It is possible that if you are under a lot of stress that it might interupt your cycle but then again it could also mean that you are pregnant or that there are other issues that you should consult a doctor about.

yes stress could cause yor cycle to be a little crazy. IT can not come at all or be late, cause spotting.... anything really. But if there is any chance of being pregnant then take a test.

Stress plays a big roll, but the sure way to tell what's causing inturruptions in your cycle is to take a pregnancy test.

Actually being with kids can make you feel relaxed and not stressed. It will solve your cycle issue if any.

Scientifically it has been proven that playing with kids and pets can keep you fit and away from heart deceses.
