I'm sure a fisherman has at least once used a rabbit for bait, and I'm sure that shark loved the taste. I mean who don't like rabbit?????

Unlikely but still possible... it's amazing what reaserchers and fishermen have found in sharks, the regular fish, turtles, sea mamals, to more exotic items such as liscence plates, human body parts and pieces of caribou, so rabbit wouldnt be that far off. Tough I doubt they'd actually like it as they prefer more oily/fatty foods rather than soggy hairballs.

I would disagree, and say yes. rabbits being shipped, that then drown and form a food source for opportunistic carnivores, which may smell a cut. rabbits that live near to the sea may also drown within unseasonal upsurges of tides, and drown and get eaten. the law of probability states that somewhere, somehow it may have happened
