The doctor will probably do an early ultrasound to determine your dates better.
If you are still comfortable lay on your stomach, if it hurts though it's time to stop. Some women can lay comfortably on their tummy's for a few weeks others can't.
around 20 weeks is when you will start to feel the baby move.

Question #1: I've had my period in the beginning of all three of my pregnancies and my first pregnancy was when I was 15. The majority of the time it was not a complete period, it was more like spotting and light bleeding. They'll ask you when was the last day of your normal period but you should also tell them about the other periods too. They'll be able to tell when you have an ultrasound done, they'll measure the size of the baby and all of the other measurements they do like how much fluids are in the placenta, etc... So as long as you're eating and not starving yourself, it should be pretty acurate.
Question #2: I've never tried to lay on my stomach at 11 weeks but it could be because of the pressure in your belly. I did try when I was further along and it does hurt so I wouldn't do that, what they told me to do is lay on my side and put a pillow between my legs, that's the most comfortable for me when I was pregnant.
You'll feel pains here and there and it'll hurt a little bit when the baby first starts to kick but you'll get used to it and love it. The kicking should start around 4 1/2 to 5 months pregnant. You'll love that, that was my favorite! You'll feel them hiccup inside of you and also they love to take their hands, elbows, feet, or even their knees and push it up against your belly and move it across the belly and it'll look like a little fin going across your belly. You'll love it so enjoy it! Congrats on the baby and good luck to you!

They will be able to tell how far along you are by giving you an ultrasound. They measure the baby and it tells them how many weeks.
I get those pains too. I don't know but I suggest not laying on your tummy. Simple fix. Also laying on your tummy does NOT hurt the baby.
You will feel the baby move between 18-20 weeks and it is awesome. Also when the baby has the hiccups.. I loved that. Look forward to it this time too.
I was 17 when I had my first so I understand. Good luck and Congrats!!

You'll feel the baby between 14-20 weeks, depending on its growth and your size and awareness.
It hurts to lay on your stomach because your uterus is taking up space and pushing organs around. Not to mention that its stressful on the tendons and muscles that hold the uterus in place. If its painful, dont lay that way. Only lay how you're comfortable.
They do an ultrasound to determine how developed the baby is, and how pregnant you are. THey will also take blood to check your hormone levels to give them a better idea of how far along you are.

Ok, the first thing is they will do blood work and usually a sonogram to make sure everything is ok and to pin point your due date.
I am not sure why that hurts to do that ( I did not feel that way till much later ) but it might have something to do with your tummy is stretching so it might act like a bruise . I think that is normal though with some women. I think it is just pushing down on it so it makes you hurt. My doc. told me that laying on your tummy is fine until it starts to hurt or have any kind of pressure. SO I would suggest just do not do it and the baby will be fine. But, that is a normal thing.

When the Dr. does an ultrasound they can tell how far along you are. I am 4 weeks pregnant and I can't lay on my stomach either. I feel pressure and sometimes it makes me cramp. I wish you all of the best.

they can determine how far along u are by monitoring the baby's growth, particularly during the ultra sound that discovers the baby's sex and thereafter.....jus dont lay on ur belly anymore, i know this may be hard, or annoying to deal with cuz i sleep on my belly too...but ur body is changing and stretchin...i also heard that it isnt too safe to do that...jus try to get used to laying on ur sides...hope i helped and good luck!!
oh, and kicking usually starts around the 20th week or so....this differs for every woman bcuz our bodies are all different...i am smaller framed and i felt fluttering movement around my 12-13 week...

they will give you an ultrasound to help better determine your due date.as for the stomach pain it might be sore due to your muscles stretching.this starts to happen as soon as you get pregnant.i know when the doc pushes on my stomach looking for my uterus it hurts even when i was first pregnant.you need to get an ultrasound soon cause the earlier you get one the more accurate they are at determining the due date.congats and dont worry it will all be fine!
