I havent' had headaches pretty much the whole pregnancy? My stomach was really upset a couple nights ago and now after I eat I feel like I'm gonna throw up. I'm very ready to have this baby. I don't think she's dropped yet but I'm not sure. It's my first. She is very active though. I may be farther along than 37 weeks maybe 38 weeks..they gave me a due date anywhere between Dec 17th and the 25th...I'm praying not the 25th. Also I think she could come early cause I smoke maybe 1-2 cigarettes a day until about the 5th month. I know it's very bad...but I did quit now. Anyways for those of you who know...do you think I may have my baby soon or no?

headaches at this stage could indicate a health problem. With my youngest I had headaches and i had pregancy induced hypertension. Do you have swelling? Don't necessarily count on the baby being born early because you smoke. It could but my friend smoked with her first and she was 10 days overdue and the baby had to be put in the nicu because she had to deliver via c-section. If you have dropped it will feel much more comfortable when you breath. It will also depend on how much you stress your self out. If you are stressed then labor will not come naturally and it is not good for your health or for the baby's either. Congrats and good luck. Hope that you have a safe delivery and a healthy baby :) :) :)

Only the baby knows when it is ready to come. This is the most important stage in development as this is when the lungs are maturing!! I'm sure you want to take your baby home with you and not have her have to stay in the hospital.
First trimester type symptoms usually return before the baby arrives - nausea, headaches, etc. I would make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids (as dehydration will cause headaches) and try to eat small meals throughout the day instead of one big meal.
I know you are uncomfortable but try not to rush to the end as your baby needs to stay in and bake a bit longer. The best of luck for a healthy deliver and baby!

Well you could have your baby soon but be aware of the headaches because this can be a sign of high blood pressure. I dont think that the headaches are a sign of giving birth though. Call your ob to explain the headache. Best of luck!

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

OMG.... please call your doctor. Headaches can be a sign of preeclampsia. (Pregnancy induced hypertension) Even if you haven't had signs in the past you can still get it. It happens more with first baby's. It can cause coma, seizure, long terms health problems for mom, etc. PLEASE CALL YOUR DOC. It has to be taken care of quickly.
