A guy friend of mine is having his portrait taken the group is wearing blue jeans and black shirts. He asked me after purchasing the shirt were there other colors of trousers he could wear with a black cotton button down shirt. I told him khaki but honestly didn't what to give him colors that were too girly any suggestions?

Khaki or anything tan should be fine without looking girlie, he could also try some dark Grey with hints of black. I hope that you can picture what I'm talking about if I could show ya that would be easier but I cant sorry, Good Luck!

cream cotton slacks look fab with black shirts. Black trousers can also look good, bbut its hard to wear this without looking like a bouncer!!

A very soft gray would like really nice with a black shirt.

he can go with khaki or gray. but blue jeans would be fine too since everyone else in the portrait is wearing htem

Black or gray for a a blended suit. White if you want your outfit to pop but not be too 'crazy' looking ( :

Khakis are perfect :-) He could even do with blue-gray (black shoes and black belt to go with it though).

Any color is appropriate since black compliments every color in the rainbow and then some.

anything goes with black, thats why its called 'the master of colors'.
Try dark navy blue jeans, or khaki, or brown, or... anything!
