michael richards (kramer) should pay money to those guys he yelled at? I agree that he should definitely apologize in person to those guys because it was completely out of line, but i don't think he owes them money. i think they just see this as a way of getting some free money, mainly because he's a celebrity. i don't think if he was just some average joe that they would ask for "compensation".

it was yahoo news a couple days ago, that the two guys that richards yelled at, might want a certain sum of money from him, in addition to an apology!

Those guys should apologize to HIM for heckling him at the club. Didn't they call him a 'white cracke'r? Isn't that racist? And he is catching hell because he responded to them? That's not fair. Richards owes them nothing. Too bad more white people aren't standing up for him.

I think a public apology will be enough, his career is over anyway. But have you ever thought that a lawyer could be behind them pushing for compensation. To be honest the whole ordeal was wrong coming from the people that made the comments and from Kramer.

They deserve a public apology. The absolutely do NOT deserve financial compensation. Do demand money just makes them look bad. While Mr. Richards was completely wrong to rant on them.. do not lose sight of the fact that they were being extremely rude themselves and deserved to be yelled at. They did not deserve the racist rant.. they did however deserve to be centred out. I hope Mr. Richards seeks help for his obvious racist attitude.

He doesn't owe them any compensation! An apology is all that is needed. As out of line as it was, no amount of $$ would make up for what he did if they were truly hurt by his comments.
I'm always surprised at how quickly a price can be put on someone's pride. It just shows how shallow our society has become.

yeah he dont owe em nothing. tell you the truth he doesnt owe them an appology either especially when they fired back "you cracker thats why you aint nobody all you had was seinfield and you aint nothing now cracker"
i aint appologizing to some black guy that calls me a cracker until he appologizes to me and if you think thats f'ed up get out of my face.
not to mention go to a comedy club anywhere in the world and see what happens when you talk during a gig. the comedian is free to say whatever he wants so if you dont want to be offended i suggest you become a hermit and not leave the house. and if they want money out of him it goes to show that what kramer called them is justified cause now they are looking to get paid for something that has no justification on being paid.
moral of this story if your at a comedy club watch the show and shut the F up unless you dont mind being called names.

If the guy wasn't a celebrity, the other guys would have kicked his butt and been done with it. I think they should both apologize. The two gentlemen for interrupting his show which was rude and inconsiderate and then Richards should apologize for overreacting and saying the things he said.

He was a complete jerk for what he said and totally out of line, but I agree with you! These people are looking for some free money. If they're so emotionally damaged because of his words, why don't they go to therapy and just have him pay the bill for that instead of getting a "Settlement" for his comments?! They want money and they'll probably get it!

Yes he should apologize to them in person but remember they insulted him first and therefore they should not receive any compensation for it..he just took it to the worst degree and for that he should be sorry and be the better person since he is a public figure. He apologized many many times on national television and that should be all that they need..move on.

This didn't happen at a summit meeting of the world nuclear powers. It isn't a big deal. so what, some guys got drunk at a comedy club on mouthed off, and they got it back. He does not need to apologize to anyone and he shouldn't. This whole world is way to sensitive on issues that just don't matter

I agree 100%.
This situation is rectified by offering heartfelt apology and admitting to the offense. Money shouldn't be playing a role in this and doesn't fix the problem.
As usual our money-grubbing society is making it about money!!
