The coating on my enamel bath is worn and discoloured. I want to try and avoid replacing the bath as this will probably mean re-tiling and I'm not in a position to re-do the whole bathroom. I'll do this in the future but for now I was considering using that stuff that you paint on. Have any of you used it and if so - what did you think of it? Any tips and oh - where do you get it from?

and yes, its brilliant! My bath looked brand new and still looks fantastic 6 months on and more importantly it was easy to do!

There are professional people called Bathdoctors who treat the bath by spraying a new coat on , it is that good that our local authority had it doe as cheaper than replacing withnew baths

You can get it from some plumbers merchents and I think places like B&Q/Homebase do to. It can look ok, depends who's doing it. Can look patchy if not done right. Best option is to have the whole bath resprayed.

Any enamel paint will do the trick, availible from all decent DIY shops.

call the bath doctor if you are no good at d i y you may make it look worse
