I started testing 3 days after my menstrual cycle. On Saturday the test came up positive that I was having my LH surge. So according to the directions, that day and the following day was when I should have intercourse (with in 24-36 hours). So I tested again on Sunday and today (Monday) and they both were positive too. So I'm a little confused. Am I still ovulating? Do I need to keep having intercourse when it is positive?

Thank you for your answers in advance!

yes you do!! You are ovulating very soon but if they are positive then do it!! They detect the least little bit of LH surge so do it when it said. You only ovulate( let the egg drop) one day but it can last a few days in the window of the best time to get preg. that is why that is showing up pos. for a few days.

Ovulation test shows the LH surge the 2 days before Ovulation so when you had measured your temperature, you would have noticed that your ovulation day was probably Monday and even a day after ovulation you are still fertile good luck to you!

Generally you only get the surge line that day. if you're getting them more days in a row its possible that you ovulate from both ovaries (do twins run in the family?) or that your body produces excessive amount of the LH hormone. Or it could be that the tests are faulty.

I would go by the first test that you did. and plan for havign sex 24-36 hours after that strip.

why not just give him some every day? you are holding out for 1 day a month. Your best chance at getting prego is going at it as much as possible. that way, he wont be so sad when you get fat for 9 months.
