What kind of Memory Stick Pro Duo is best for a PSP?

My son got a PSP last year for Christmas and now needs more memory. He uses it for the internet, games, mp3, movies etc. I have no idea how much memory would suit his needs or where the best price would be, and I dont want to ask him because then he will know I am getting it for him for Christmas. Please be as specific as possible so I know exactly what I should shop for. Thanks so much!
