What action we can take against the recognized school that is terminating the services of a lady teacher who has been working for the last one and a half year just because she is pregnant

That is against the law in the USA. The principal needed to file a complaint about her performance. If she can prove the only reason for her termination is her pregnancy she has grounds for a lawsuit for wrongful termination. I am not certain how it works in other countries. The only excuse that might be acceptable is if she is single and working in a private school with a morality clause in its contract, most public schools do not have that.

Actually, this may be perfectly legal if the teacher was still on a "trial" contract. I know that schools are not obligated to re-hire anyone in NC during their first three years as teachers.

The best thing the lady teacher can do is appeal to a union such as the NEA. Their lawyers handle everything if you are a member. However, if the termination is already in progress, it might be too late to enlist their aid.

contact your state lawyer typical's workplace. each and every state has distinct guidelines and techniques that she might want to bypass by. maximum in all probability the administration on the school has documented evey little infraction she has had this college 12 months purely so that they could fabricate a "reason" to terminate. If she will educate otherwise ie: severe attempt rankings, severe fulfillment price of student promoted to next element, and or student and make sure thoughts which will be powerful. appears like she works for crappy human beings. reliable luck to her!
