The peg on the radiator that your put the "key" onto is damaged. The edges have been worn down from repeated bleeding, and now I cannot get it to turn. Any suggestions what I can do, or do I need to call out a plumber?

Since I can't see how bad the "key" is damaged, along with the edges, and I don't know how "Inclined"(Mechanically) you are, I'd say; you might want to be "Safe" now, and call a Plumber. It could save you time, money, and headaches now, and The Plumber could replace the few damaged parts that you have now, instead of more that were broken, when you tried to "fix-it," before you have to call Him.
My experience, I'd try myself, to "tear-it apart" completely, and repalce any thing that didn't look "Right" even if it meant that I had to buy tools for that "one-job." When calling The Plumber would save money on a Tool that I might need, and I wouldn't have any type of warranty, by doing the work myself, except that I did the work...
Just think about "The Can of Worms"(Problems & Hassle) that you could open-up, if you try to "fix-it" yourself....
Sorry, and Good Luck!
