Even though I couldn't stand him at Florida, I think Steve Spurrier is a damn good coach. I also like the Bobby Bowden rumor.

Hopefully, it won't be Spurrier! I feel certain it won't be Bobby Bowden - rumor has it he's getting ready to retire anyway - he needs to! I don't know who I'd like to see get the job but there are plenty of people I don't want to see get the job!

They're NUTS if they hire Bowden's wrinkly old butt! The game has begun to pass him by as his recent record attests. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make a move for University of Tennessee offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe. He's a Birmingham native and has head coaching experience at the SEC level.

the guy from military and Spurrier are the two fan alternatives. i for my section like the guy from military. he's by no potential gained a championship so he might choose one and he's youthful(previous due 40's-early 50's) so he might stay awhile and construct some thing there. that's what Bama desires.

Steve Spurrier is a good candidate, although I am personally pulling for St. Nick of Miami.............
