I have been on hundreds of beautiful beaches all over the world and I truly cannot say that one is any better than the other. They are all incredible. French Polynesia, Hawaii, The Caribbean, Bermuda, New Zealand, Big Sur in California, The Mediterranean, The Florida Panhandle. No one can say that there is a best and a second best.

SIX OF THE BEST......
Beaches in the world

Clifton, Cape Town
As far as I travel, I can't seem to beat 2nd Beach Clifton. Protected from the galeforce CT wind, its the best place to be, especially when everywhere else in CT is being blown away! The water may be cold, but you can't beat it for its beauty and position!

Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica
Set in the most scenic part of Costa Rica, this is the most wonderful beach! I'm partly biased because I spent 3 months lying on the these sands! But it really is magnificent, with the swaying palms, the black sand..and its one of the best surf spots in Central America! So if you're looking for a cute American surfer, this is the beach to lie on!

Paradise Beach, Mykonos
Not the most beautiful beach in the world, but certainly the most fun! The music starts at about 10 am with a little soft and gentle Sting, but by 3pm your feet are tapping, people are dancing on the bar, and you're settling into your first cocktail..if you like having fun while getting a tan ,this is the party beach of choice!

Blue Lagoon, Karvos, Corfu
This is a beach, only reachable by boat from Karvos, where they shot the Blue Lagoon movie. The water is a turquoise blue, the sand is soft and white, and you feel like you've died and gone to heaven!

San Sebastian, Spain
One of the finest beaches in Europe! Its got fine sand, like CapeTown, warm water (unlike CT!)and is set in the spectacular city of San Sebastian. If you're in Spain, don't miss out on this one..

South Beach, Miami, Florida
If you're into people watching this is the place to be! And after a long, hot day in the Florida Sun, there is nothing better than a cocktail on a sidewalk cafe, watching the beautiful people rollerblade pass you, knowing you're on the infamous South Beach!

Folegandros, Greece
Imagine a Greek island, and it's likely you'll invoke images of whitewashed buildings clustered into villages, tumbling down sheer cliff drops to the azure waters below.

Newquay, United Kingdom
It's not often beachgoers associate a trip to England with a sunny summer holiday spent relaxing on luxurious sands. Unknown to many outside the United Kingdom, the isle is home to Newquay, a seaside haven.

Seignosse, France
To experience the town and beaches of Seignosse in southwestern France is like encountering the incongruous blending of a Brother's Grimm fairy tale.

Manele Bay, Hawaii
Hulopo'e Beach on the island of Lana'i, long considered one of the world's most perfect stretches of sand, lies at the base of the Four Seasons Lana'i at Manele Bay.

El Matador, California
Far from the wheeling and dealing of the Hollywood hills and the hustle and bustle of its boulevards, beachgoers in the know seek solidarity by heading up the winding Pacific Coast Highway.

Pernambuco, Brazil
A-Listers and adventure travelers are always looking for the next hot vacation destination, complete with pristine beaches, extraordinary activities and a vibrant night life. Brazil's beaches score high on all criteria, making them a popular destination.

Koh Phangan, Thailand
Alex Garland's novel The Beach sent many curious 20-somethings to Thailand’s islands looking for a good time. Today, the hottest island for the young set is the island of Ko Phangan, a small island near the larger Koh Samui.

Bottom Bay, Barbados
Barbados is a distinctive island, both in its natural beauty and fun-loving culture. This West Indies gem is actually a coral island. The sandy beaches are made up of pulverized coral, which makes for fine, soft sands.

Vieques, Puerto Rico
For more than 60 years, the U.S. Navy owned three-quarters of this island. After years of civilian protests, the Navy moved out in 2003 opening up that land to the island's residents.

The Baths, British Virgin Islands
The British Virgin Islands are made up of a collection of smaller islands, each with its own unique topography and island vibe. Virgin Gorda, one of the largest islands, is a popular tourist spot with posh resorts, pristine beaches and great sailing.

The best beach in the world can be found in the island of Boracay, in the Philippines. The second best is also in Asia, in Phuket, Thailand. You may also visit the beaches of Bali in Indonesia. Southeast asia offers the best beaches in the world.

The one that is the best beaches for me in my personal opinion has to be The White Rocks beach which lies between Cunan strand and Dunluce Castle in Co Antrim N. Ireland. It is loved by surfers and para-gliders from around the world.

Don't take my word for it visit the site or better still the beach for your self and then decide.

Mind you its rough about now weather wise and you need to be pretty hardy to brave the North Antrim Atlantic Ocean spray.

regardless of the actual undeniable fact that many locals declare the quay to be the worldwide's 2d longest, there exist particularly distinctive longer beaches, it particularly is composed of Praia do Cassino (254 km) in Brazil, Cox's Bazar (one hundred twenty km) in Bangladesh, Padre Island on the U. S. Gulf Coast, ninety Mile sea coast in Australia and ninety Mile sea coast (88 km), New Zealand. besides the fact that, in comparison to optimal beaches, Marina is an city sea coast equivalent to the Copacabana sea coast in Rio de Janeiro.

Bondi's over-rated. Hayling Island, Queensland is better.
Bora Bora, Tahiti has some superb beaches, but it's a long time since I've been there, they're probably over-run with tourists now.
