I have a similar hair and eye colouration, so tend to use lilacs, plums etc. A couple of years ago, I felt stuck in a rut, so I visited the make up counter in Boots and had a free makeover, finding out that turquoise also suits me. You can ask any of the counters for a makeover, they usually oblige. Why not try this, you will learn some good tricks. Also you need to take into account whether you are warm or cool skinned as this affects which colours suit.

The best way to pick a colour for eye shadow and liner is to go with the colour on the opposite side of the colour spectrum. For green eyes, it’s red….that colour looks awful on eyes (makes you look sick or high) so what most make-up artists will suggest is a purple, pink, burgundy or mauve colour. These colours will not make you look sick and will really make the green of your eyes pop. You can use these as your base colour and do a smoky eye for at night, but for daytime it is best if you choose a natural colour (like MAC’s Grain, Shroom, All That Glitters) and then use one of the colours as a liner (MAC’s Crimsonette is a great choice)

A brown would be a good colour for you.
Try using a light one in the corner of your eye and gradually get darker the further out you get.
Blend the two together and it will look amazing.

If you want budget make up try AVON, Miss Sporty or Collection 2000.
If you feel like spoiling yourself try Lancome, Yves Saint Laurent or Estee Lauder

Hope this helps

I have the same coloring. It's hard to find but if you can find a deep green/brownish shade, it works the best. I line my eyes with a forest green pencil also. The Prescriptives counter in a Dept. store is the best place for good advice on finding the best shades.

I have the same coloring, plums in the crease and under eye, with pale pink on the lid really make my eyes pop. (They're opposites on the color wheel). For a different look, try grey in the crease, dark green under eye, pale gold on lid. Chanel has a great quad compact (Les quarte ombres, "Mysteres") that has Jade/Cider/Topaz and Golden, I have had a lot of fun using! Have fun experimenting.

An electric blue along the top lashes like eyeliner looks brilliant.
As does a really bright/hot pink.
If you're not that daring, go for browns or neutral colours.

wow, you lucky gorgeous girl!
obvioulsy green will just bring your eyes out even more, electric blue will contrast nicely, taupe/olive/murky brown will enhance your colouring in a really subtle way and gold will be lovely for the festive period. try MAC makeup and chanel if you can afford it

if i were you i would go for dark earth colours so as to emphasize the green in your eyes... alternatively for a younger look stick to a dark shade of the tone of green in your eyes and define the contour of your eyes with eyeliner and/or heavy mascara.
