Here in south part of Finland winters get shorter all the time.

I remember I had to do serious snow-work 15 years ago, but nowdays, I dont even own a shavel anymore, and same goes to owning ski:s. No point owning them anymore.

If some snow comes, it`s so little amount and will melt away in a week or two. Sometimes some "film of snow" will remain longer time, but it`s rare.

Short, but extremely cold periods have been more often lately however. Last winter here was a 2 week period of minus 20-25 degrees and lower.

Now here`s 7 degrees plus grades, a warmth record of november has been broken this year

I live in L.A.. No snow here but go for a drive for about 1 to 2 hours to the East and the mountains will have snow later this year. I love living here. You can go to the beach and the snow in the same day living in Southern California.

Not very often; occasionally it may snow for 2-3 days a year but only rarely does it settle for more than a day.

Yep. For a couple of weeks it's pretty thick, with fairly big drifts and the snow ploughs have their work cut out. But when I was really little the snow lasted for about a month.

Not here where I live, Buenos Aires.
It is in front a huge estuary that makes snow almost impossible to settle and does not even let temperature go under 0°C (freeze).

Yes/Oui:
I live in Kitimat. The names means people of the snow. As of late it hasn't snowed as much in the past several years. I think we're the victims of global warming. The salmon needs the snow on the mountain tops.
