I am going to a Black and White Ball, the women have to wear white, men wear black. I want to wear cream because white is not really this season, so anyway, I have cream colored velvet pants and I was just going to throw on some kind of cream sweater, but I do not know what color shoes to wear...maybe brown? Gold? Please help! Thanks.

Brown shoes really aren't for evening events, especially super formal ones. Metallic gold, silver, or bronze would be better.

please don't put on brown shoes. it will "drab" out your outfit. since you are wearing pants, i would suggest a boot in either cream or gold. if boots aren't dressy enough for the ball, go with a nice heel (doesn't have to be a stiletto). wearing cream shoes with cream pants and a cream sweater will make you look longer. if you want to break up the cream, go for the gold but make sure your accessories are gold as well. have fun!!!

go for a light colour because brown would only shift focus onto your shoes way too much. I would go for white gold or cream... cream would kind of make the whole thing look a bit bland and gold if too showy might look vulgar... white is the safest of the 3.

Match your shoes to your purse.
Brown, gold, even black shoes will look fine with a cream outfit if it matches the color of your purse.

Taupe would be best but wouldn't that be a problem at a black and white ball? The shoes will hardly show under the pants anyway, so it really doesn't matter.

Gold or silver would be nice (as mentioned above, to match your acessories). But, generally anything in a light neutral colour would work (beige, light tan, etc).

Well maybe you should wear a balck or some silver shoes that would go best to me. but you can wear what ever you think looks good for you. Also i think they should be the strappy ones that go up your lesgs that "in" now.
