When I go to Control Panel -Users Accounts it shows myself and the administrator. If I click on administrator, the checkbox for Reset password becomes available. But if I click on my user, the Reset is no longer available. What can I do to change my login password?

Try changing the password from the crt-alt-del wind task pane. Most business system are protected so someone can't come by as you're away from your desk and change your password.
