Last night I put up my tree & decorated it, I also hung stockings & decorations; that put me the holiday mood; I like to listen to Christmas music sometimes also :)

I know how you feel. Sadly I havent really been in the holiday spirit the past couple of years, I really dont know why either.
I'm sure if I could get everything done that I needed to, and if I had enough money to get people gifts and still have money left over for bills without worry then maybe I could be in the spirit more.
Dunno, but good luck! Hopefully we both get more into it!

Read the story of the first Christmas--how God loved the world so much that He gave us Jesus. Then go out and do something for someone else--it is as easy as buying some individually wrapped snack food and giving it to the guys who are huddled under the bridge.... or clearing out the blankets that always sit in the closet and leave them at a shelter.... it is not hard to find someone who needs more than we do and that might help you see how blessed you are.

It's too soon to be in the spirit, so don't worry about it for another couple of weeks. I listen to Christmas music, especially the actual carols that we sang a long time ago. The real ones, not the goofy stuff they have today.

I just bought a whole bunch of Christmas decorations yesterday that got me in the mood, for both the inside and outside of my home. They're so sparkly and pretty, they definitely cheer me up and make it feel like Christmas time. I went all out this year.

I feel this year is worse than the last years, all everyone is talking about is what I want, what you can get me, and so forth, TV and the radio are only doing the SELL SELL or should I say BUY BUY BUY charge it it does not matter how you pay but just but tons of stuff....
hey that's not what Christmas is about, it is about family and friends, ( and of course Jesus ) but he wants us to share love and friendships... and for the ones who worship to worship...but is is about love of family and friends...not getting yourself in debt over your head just to make the malls rich..
I am not much in the spirit to SPEND, but in the spirit to be with friends and family...
that I can get into but spending just to spend not going to do it...
smile
good luck

Very rarely do I get into the holiday spirit. If it happens, I make the best of it. If it doesn't happen, I don't worry about it and life goes on.

Watch "A Christmas Story" ten times in a row, then dress up like a sexy elf and come over to my house.
