Definitely a suit if it is at a professional level (bookkeeping or above). Choose charcol grey, navy, or black. Brown is sometimes worn. If you go with black, soften it up with a feminine colour and jewelry.

If it is for reception, probably not a suit. Something dressy and and flattering would be better, but it still must be professional looking. You could choose a fashion-conscious suit, however. Think about what they would want the first impression of the firm to be.

Try Monster.com Quintcareer.com for great interview articles. They get into some nitty gritty about what to wear.

absolutely no for a red dress. you are going for an interview. Always opt for pant not even a mid calf dress or skirt. also wear full shoes - no sandals etc. try a pale coloured blouse with the pants. keep your make up low and opt for neat hair not the kind of lose and wild hair. but that doesnt mean that you need to look like some out fashioned old girl... you will have to show that you suit the job qualifications while staying pretty. p.s : at the interview always be confident and listen to what you are saying. Good luck

A suit or fairly formal dress would be appropriate. While dress pants and a shirt are fine for many interviews, an accounting firm might expect more formality.

i would wear a suit. it's always much better to over dress than under dress. you will look professional in a suit. or you could just wear dress pants a nice shirt and a tailored jacket.

most ppl would say its a suit which i guess is the preferred and safest choice. however i personally think that a shirt and tie would more than cut it; especially if you are looking for an auditting position.
