About £5 millions

well thats a relative term - how much do you want to change it

1/4 million would enable me to buy my own house, then i could spend the £650 pcm i spend on rent on living a much better life. however i would still have to work. so it has changed my life in some sense but not others.

or 2 million cleverly invested would give me the same income as I get at the minute, but I would still be paying rent.

i suppose therefore that 2.25 million would allow me to continue living in my house and not work and have a bit of money over to do things, but what would I do all the time.

so i suspect I would need 5 or 6 million to be able to do things with all my spare time.

I think that's different for everyone, depending on their personal desires and priorities. As for me, I think my life would change considerably if I had just enough money to pay off my credit cards, my student loans, pay for the wedding that my boyfriend and I desperately want, and to put a large down payment on a new house. Because those are the things that are important to me. Guessing that'd be around $70,000. Other than that, I make good enough money to keep myself happy...I just can't get over the hump to have those very expensive things I need.

But of course, any more than that amout would change my life even MORE...and give me even greater financial freedom (I mean, who doesn't want a million-billion dollars in their pocket?). But I think $70,000 would be enough to make me a much happier person.

I need $59,000. This would pay off my home loan. My family and I could live the same way we live now - but without the worries of living pay check to paycheck with out much going into savings. An extra $850 a month - would ease the stress and worries about nothing left in the checkbook at the end of the week. Wow - to have money left over when the new paycheck goes in?

haha yeah how much are u offering? I'll happily
take a 50-50 split of the money. And as long as it more than about 10 pounds id say it would change my life quite considerably.

That is hard to answer. The boundary between need and want is obscure to me. Strictly speaking, I need food and water, or I will die. And I might be inclined to label some vaccinations as something very helpful in the warding off of the hounds of death..
In extreme environments I would need ways of keeping warm or cool, so as not to die.

We may also have needs beyond the level of survival, but these I find harder to define.

You wouldn't need any money to change your life.
The only way to change your life is ur self no money in the world could change who u r.
Just be happy with what you got cuz there r ppl out in the world far less unfortunate then you like poverty it is real so don't think about your self think about others.

you dont need money. i have enough to drive a nice sports car, a big house and look after my kids, but look at some of these messed up celebrities who started in the gutter, made loads of money and then went back there. you could change your life by spending 10quid on a coach ticket and moving to wales and be happy for ever, or you could spend 6million on a pad in london, and end up a complete sad ****.

Zero

All it takes is a decision and you can change your life completely and in some cases permanently.

£300,000 - enough to by a house that will last me for the rest of my natural. Not having to pay the mortgage every month would change my life considerably.

Do you need my bank details, or will you send a cheque?
