even though i dont listen to rap music why do rappers like snoop dog,ludacris,jibbs,pherrel,and other rappers just rap about girls, shoes, chains, cloths and other stupid things
but not all rappers rap about that they rap about life and how thier life was a long time ago

You are only hearing the songs that get air play and the videos that their record labels want you to see. Ludacris, and Pherrel definitely rap about their lives and not just women and jewelry. Listen to the entire albums not just the one song you hear on the radio.

Because that's what sells, kids today see the videos, bling, women, etc........... and they love it. So in order to keep the cash flowing they entertain the younger generation.
