I actually prefer the real christmas tree because they smell so nice and they really look better than a fake tree. Get a real tree because even though they do make a big mess, they smell so nice, and they are beautiful. So why not go for a real one this year. Merry Christmas!!

REAL!!! Sure there will be a mess but that's what a vacuum is for.
Going out and finding the perfect tree is exhilerating and can be one of the most memorable moments of the season. The smell that dominates the air screams christmas and you can't help but get into the spirit of the season while sitting next to the tree watching christmas movies and smelling that aroma. Also the imperfections in each real tree remind me during this time of the year that flaws make people beautiful.

I would of liked a fake tree but then I realized after I had to take out a fake tree for work and fix it up even the prelit one, I said no way I will deal with the a real tree. I was so mad and ticked off fluffing it up. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Real real real all the way.

well you know i know that the real trees are so much better than fake ones even though they make messes they still look beautiful but you are already going to have to clean up the mess of the presents anyway so you should really get a real one besides real x-mas trees give off a good scent

I prefer the fake trees. They are cleaner, and they don't need water. They also look nice through the entire holiday season. I like to decorate for Christmas the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and with a real tree by the time Christmas is here it is turning brown and getting thin. Fake trees are also economical, you buy it once, instead of paying almost $100 every year, that's more money to pay off your credit card after the holidays. You also don't run the risk of one of your holiday guests being allergic to a fake tree and getting sick at your house. Yes the real ones are fun and smell nice, but are they really worth the money and trouble?

definitely a real one..no fake tree can compare to the smell and beauty of a real tree..besides what better way to start of the holiday with the family going out together to a tree farm, cutting down their tree and drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows..you sure can't do that with a fake one..and another plus with the real tree..pinecones..those are nonexistent with a fake tree

Well we actually have a very realistic fake one. That last time we bought a real one it was dead completely by Christmas morning. You'd touch it and all you'd hear were the needles falling on the presents below. The next year we found a beautiful artificial one at Garden Ridge Pottery and bought it. Now we spent almost $100.00 on it but we've had it for 7 years now.

I grew up with fake trees. Since we've been married, my husband insisted on real, and now I can't see it any other way! Somehow, he always finds trees that aren't needle-droppers - usually white spruce, I think. We try to remember where we got good ones (not just the location, but from the vendor tag on the trunk), so we can go back. The trick is finding a really fresh one - bang it on the ground to see if needles drop.

The real difference is the smell right, so buy a beautiful fake and lite a candle that smells like pine. That way when you get tired of the smell, just put the fire out and you're done.

fake trees are cheaper in the long run and are easily stored now. besides it takes several years to grow a real tree and think of the environmental issues.
